Social Spaces is project which studies positive community projects and aims to test if these types of projects can be stimulated elsewhere through spreading ideas and practices.

It is currently focused on 5 main areas:

1. Hand Made - Portraits of Emergent New Culture
Publishing a book called Hand Made which highlights lots of wonderful people and projects that focus on Learning, Sharing and Making.

2. Travelling Pantry
Launching the Travelling Pantry - a 6 month initiative to help test the idea of stimulating projects through local group workshops.

3. Community of Practice
Developing a living Community of Practice which comes out of the Travelling Pantry, where people share their experiences and develop ideas through experimental activity.

4. Organisational Workshops
Providing a service focused on a co-design process to organisations who would like to explore develop projects within and through their organisations.

5. Research
As we develop the project and the thinking we intend to apply for a formal research grant.
